The Groundskeeper is the first NPC met in Untitled Goose Game. He is also the only NPC in The Garden. He helps in getting the bell by standing in front of the gate, stopping the goose from getting through. He is also willing to go into the water to retrieve items from the goose. He also allows the goose to enter the next level by falling back onto the gate door, opening it.

History[]

get into the garden[]

In this mission, you need to get into the garden by either getting the gate open or going through the hole in the hedge. The garden belongs to the groundskeeper.

get the groundskeeper wet[]

In this mission, you need to get the groundskeeper wet by either leading him into the lake or turning on the sprinklers while he is near them.

steal the groundskeeper's keys[]

In this mission, you need to sneak up behind the groundskeeper and steal his keys.

make the groundskeeper wear his sun hat[]

In this mission, you need to steal the groundskeeper's hat off of his head and put it somewhere where he won't find it. Then wait for him to go put on his sun hat.

rake in the lake[]

In this mission, you need to steal the groundskeeper's rake and pull it into the lake. The rake belongs to the groundskeeper.

make the groundskeeper hammer his thumb[]

In this mission, you need to honk right as the groundskeeper is about to hammer the no goose sign into place. This will cause him to lay back against the gate door, causing it to open, revealing the next level.

...and take it all the way back home[]

In this mission, as you are taking the bell back home, the groundskeeper will be standing in front of the gate, blocking you from leaving. To avoid him, just go out through the hole in the hedge.

lock the groundskeeper out of the garden[]

In this mission, steal the groundskeepers keys while he is outside. Then bring the keys inside the gate and close it.

make someone from outside high street buy back their own stuff[]

In this mission, you need to steal the groundskeeper's trowel and bring it to the street shop. After the shopkeeper inspects it, she will put it with the other gardening supplies. Then get the groundskeeper to come to the shop and see his trowel. He will then attempt to take it back, being stopped by the shopkeeper, who will make him pay for it. This will also work as an alternate for completing the mission make someone buy back their own stuff.
